01.19.12 | O'Keeffe Playhouse begins to take shape

Here is the first look at the how the O'Keeffe Playhouse is coming to life. The original design was intended to be stucco applied over straw bale to demonstrate a green build concept. However, this method was scrapped in order to allow the sub-structure to be pre-fabricated in a warehouse, then shipped to the site. Gunite will be apllied next, and hand troweled to achieve a stuccoed finish.
